It’s approximately 5 hours duration, and easy to moderate difficulty trekking
The trek is in protected rain forest; great jungle walks, a fascinating view of both Tamblingan and Buyan lakes and some wildlife encounters.
10 am, meet up at our base camp for a welcome drink and safety briefing.
Ascending to Mt Lesong, up to its crater, the climb is from west of lake tamblingan to the Naga Loka Cave, where we can spot it right away from a short distance (we cannot enter the cave because of safety reason). Your guide will have a stop here to pay a respect at the little forest temple. Continue the hike, after nearly 3 hours trek in a dense rain-forest we will arrive at the summit, witness the Crater from slightly distance, with a view of both Tamblingan and Buyan Lake. (Weather permits). Picnic lunch is provided.
Take a detour route descending to the other side of the mountain, which leads us to the lake. Upon arrival at Tamblingan lake side, take a canoe ride to a pickup area at the other side of the lake. You afterward be taken with a short drive to our base camp for a fresh roasted coffee and tea before continue your journey.
The Wilderness camp is tuck-away with 360 degree view of hill range, valley and north Bali Ocean. The camp is facilitated with hot-shower, restaurant and fire place.
